Gardening 🌱

'"You have the chance to plant a seed of something very special in the hearts, minds, and spirits of your children as you garden together".
-Cathy James

Today we planted some seeds.
The children all got a chance to fill the container with soil, dig a tiny hole with their finger, place the seed in the hole and then cover it up with soil.

We planted: cilantro, zucchini, spaghetti squash, kale, garlic and red onion.

Now we will watch and wait until our garden starts to grow. Once it's nice enough outside we will transplant the plants outside into our garden boxes.

From one tiny seed we will get food to eat at snack time, there's nothing more rewarding than that!
