My hockey puck collection

This child brought in his collection of hockey pucks to show to the class. He and his mother explained that near their house, they find pucks by the skating rink.

 " This one is my favourite because it has lots of colors."

" We found one that was really stuck in the ice. Then me and mom broke the ice and got it out."

 

As I look at this picture I see the joy and accomplishment a child can have over something so little.
